Teacher Wei’s True Nature Travels in New Zealand/Aotearoa

Here in the land of immense solitary mountains and blue lakes, wide open plains and wild oceans, just now we are enjoying our Easter eggs. And we are hatching plans.

From around 20 January to 20 March 2015 Teacher Wei will explore ‘God’s own Zone’ (as NZ is also known).

His visit here will be different from his workshop tours to Europe. Here we have a chance to meet him in our uniquely relaxed and completely informal ‘Kiwi’ atmosphere. (New Zealanders are proudly referring to themselves as ‘Kiwis’, after this native bird below)

During his time in New Zealand Teacher Wei will be exploring freely and ‘follow the Dao’. He intends to visit the North and South Island of our spectacular country. Already he has invitations from friends in Auckland, Whangarei, Wellington, Nelson, Christchurch, Dunedin and Otago. He plans to meet with people and to invite guests to share his life experience and offer lectures. He will hold healing sessions and offer practice suggestions.

If you would like to meet him in ‘Aotearoa’ (the NZ Maori name for NZ), there may be several possibilities for you.  We are planning day long as well as weekend meetings. And even a couple of one week retreats with Teacher Wei. During these times you have a chance to learn practices such as deep foundation qigong and advanced methods, true nature taiji, taiji ball, and many other techniques.

The ancient wisdom and insight of the Maori, refer to our present time as ‘Te Whai Ao ki te Ao Marama’ (the time of the fulfilment of Being). Symbolically, this is the time where human Consciousness shifts to a higher level of Enlightenment. This is a perfect time to meet with Teacher Wei and his friends for daily “Consciousness Awakening Sessions”. In early February 2015 we offer a rare opportunity for participants who wish to receive individual instruction and personal guidance directly from Teacher Wei. There will also be lectures, exercises and meditation.

We are planning to hold this unique gathering in the beautiful surroundings of the fishing village of Karitane, in Coastal Otago.

PLEASE NOTE our ideas forTeacher Wei’s visit and dates will be confirmed around July 2014. Please watch our blog for ongoing updates!

Your suggestions and requests for this very special 2015 occasion are also welcome!

Happy, happy, hun yuan ling tong Easter to everybody!

Practice in Wudang

Arrival in Wudang May 12, 2013 (attending the six month training course)

My friend, Duette, and I rode the 27 hour train to Wudang Mountain from Jinzhou City. Because Duette couldn’t lie down due to her broken shoulder she sat up to sleep. And I stayed with her and found a way to fit my legs behind her on the bed.

We were the first to be dropped off by the taxi van and Teacher Wei was waiting for us at the Wudang Centre. There are 22 participants for the six month teacher training course. Most everyone is staying at the Center and a few of us are in nearby buildings. After viewing the qigong facility we were told to return to our room to rest – it was around 6:30 am by now, so we rested until 8 am when it was time for breakfast.

Since Duette and I were the only participants who had arrived thus far, we were able to enjoy a lovely breakfast with three of the teachers. Before we ate they sang the 8 verses and blessed the food with qi. We were given our own plate, bowl, spoon and chop sticks that will remain ours for the duration.

Other participants arrived at 1:00pm. There is one man from Serbia, one Croatian lady from Germany, one from Australia, and 6 from Holland. Several more arrived later in the afternoon. There are two ladies from Belgium. They will be living where I am located. One young man is from Malaysia, and another young lady who is originally from India and is now from England – many more from Holland and later two from the Czech Republic and one from France will arrive. There are two married couples. One couple from Mexico and one from Ireland. It is truly an international group.

I will be the only American as my friend leaves tomorrow and will not stay for the training. She came to accompany me on the train and help me find my way. Three weeks before we came she fell and broke her shoulder.

Teacher Wei and Teacher Xie gave her a healing treatment that night and she was able to move her arm and use her hand again this morning, after sleeping soundly all night.

She said it was 50% better this morning, but I think she would give it a higher rating by now as she was not able to use that arm and hand at all before this morning. She was so happy that she could peel her apple, squeeze the toothpaste tube, remove her sling, etc. It is her right hand so she couldn’t even use chopsticks.

PS Yes – later that day she said it was 70% better. Then that night she received another treatment from Teacher Xie Chuan and in the morning she could use her right arm to bring the spoon to her mouth. What a victory!

The day after she left I received this message from her:“May 12:My arm is better and better. Never wore the brace on the train and using subway 5 times already in shanghai! I’ve been keeping focused in calling into the qi field all day and night too. Even did standing meditation on train after everyone went to sleep.)”

Love to you all,

Kate

Here’s what Patricia and Annelot have to say about the Zhineng Qigong Workshop they attended in the Netherlands:

“Through many friends I had heard very positive stories about Teacher Wei. He is the first teacher I had never personally met before I invited him to the Netherlands . So the surprise was even bigger; the workshop was amazing!
Teacher Wei is constantly tuning into the qifield and teaching from his True Self about the True Self. He integrates practice and theory into an experience that makes it easy to shift from understanding the theory with the mind into experiencing the theory deep inside.
What else can I say? I am very happy to invite Teacher Wei many times again in the future. Our students in Europe benefit greatly from his teachings.”
~ Patricia van Walstijn, Chi Neng Institute

“Hello everyone! I attended the 3 day workshop with Wei in the Netherlands. It was a very special weekend. Wei taught us the caterpillar exercise to loosen up the spine, which was new to me and a very welcome addition! What impressed me most was the way Wei uses the qifield to transmit his information to the group. Also we had good fun dancing while maintaining a True Self state. I felt rejuvenated after these fabulous three days! The Three Centres Merge practice never felt this good. I wanted to just stand there forever and one hour seemed little more than five minutes to me. Wei’s kind nature, deep understanding of Hunyuan Entirety and sense of humour touched us all. Hun Yuan Ling Tong!”

Dear Parents,

Our organisation is offering your children a journey; a wonderful adventure that you may choose to take part in too. It is not a traditional training class or camp; you will witness dynamic and inspiring aspects of Chinese culture.

With its five-thousand-year history, Chinese culture is the only continuous ancient civilization. Many notable Western intellectuals have looked up to Chinese culture, and today its influence continues, improving people’s health both psychologically and physically through qigong, Daoism, Buddhism, traditional Chinese medicine, Confucianism, martial arts and the Yi Jing. Some contemporary philosophers and psychiatrists have found cures for Western illnesses in Chinese knowledge. We believe that the way to achieving world peace, harmony, health and longevity can be discovered in Chinese culture.

The International Children’s Class will be held in the Wudang Mountains Scenic Reserve, Shiyan, Hubei Province. It will run for 21 days, from July 25 to August 14. Experts from both China and abroad will be working together to provide a unique and eye-opening experience for your children. We have also created a workshop for those of you accompanying your children, enabling you to share in their experiences while improving your own health and wellbeing. (If you are not able to come to China, we can arrange for some European teachers to accompany your child/children on your behalf.) Stay amidst beautiful mountain scenery and combine travel with learning about the art of good health.
