“ Tomorrow night, the Chinese New Year Celebrations will start. But now the more than hundred millions Chinese people have already been in ‘the happy and free State’. This makes a great bright Consciousness field for human beings all over the world.

During this New Year time, let us together merge with this uplifting qi field to experience some information from my ‘Hun Yuan Entirety Theory’ book translation.

The information is about harmony, the first dao de requirement of Zhineng qigong.

Repeat this information and experience it in your daily life, I am sure you will go into a new life state…

Harmony

Harmony refers to the entirety order; it is a state manifested by a healthy object – a person, a tree, a computer, anything. Every part of the object moves according to certain laws, and is it’s own special manifestation of beauty. Harmony is the principle of natural happiness and civility. It includes human harmony with nature, and human harmony with society.

Harmony between Humanity and Nature

Hunyuan Entirety theory states that human life and nature are an entirety. To be human is to be a part of nature, and nature is the inorganic body of the human being. The old frame of reference told us that we were separate from nature, but everything is simply Qi merged together. Since we rely on air to breathe, air is a part of body; since we rely on the ground to walk, so the earth is a part of the body. The relationship is total. The human being is the manifestation of natural world consciousness. So the integration of humanity and nature is a transformation, regulated in accordance with laws that are advantageous to the development of the human being.

Since humans appeared, their information has been merging into the natural world. They have always transformed nature according to their own wishes but the transformations have brought conflict, destroying nature and endangering human life, because there has been no grasp of the entirety laws between humans and the natural world. The full mystery of the interaction between human life and nature will be gradually illuminated as modern science and Qiqong science develop. But always in the interaction between the human world and the natural world there is an exchange of material, of energy, and information. A mastery and understanding of the laws of this exchange will help found a harmonized human/nature entirety, beneficial for the development of the human being. This entirety is not a return to the natural world but one that develops in accordance with the ‘Being’ of humans.

Harmony of Human and Society

Society is formed in the interaction between humanity and the natural world and so is a central point through which that connection is realized. The relationship between one human and another is really a connection between human and nature. If we want to build the harmonized relationship of human and nature we must build the harmonized relationship between human and society. This relationship includes collective harmony, and human and object harmony.

Collective Harmony

A collective of people is a foundation for realising the ‘Being’ of humans. Only through social relationships can people really become self-consciousness and manifest their true being. (The centre of which is the True-self.) Throughout history people ignorant of their own being have battled and slaughtered in a contest of material gain and life needs, and it has kept them in a barbaric state. However, if people remain harmonized together, that greater harmony can only be beneficial for their own State. (The Being of human exists in a Hunyuan Entirety State.) A collective harmony is a guarantee of human development. In such a State our own potential for wisdom emerges. A collective harmony comes from thinking-harmony, action-harmony, relationship-harmony, and organisation-harmony. A social harmony is the integration of the part and the whole, of self-consciousness and discipline, of equality and authority. (Authority here doesn’t refer to people but to an integrated social purpose and discipline.) The final purpose and benefit of all this social integration is in building a foundation for the realising of our own being – of freedom, self consciousness, self-control, and independence…

To realise themselves through Zhineng Qiqong practitioners need to collectivise their thought, to think of other’s well-being before their own, and to merge the self’s benefit into the group’s benefit and so build a harmonized familial and social relationship. Most relationships are unbalanced and harm the self and society, since if you are not in harmony with yourself then it is with this disharmony that you influence others. Zhineng Qiqong is a high level of harmonized relationship.

Harmony between Human and Object

In the process of their development humans have constantly transformed the environment, inputting information into the natural world until it is changed and remade as a part of our daily life. The advent of modern science has seen the objects around us become extensions of ourselves; computers extend our brains, cars extend our feet. The natural elements have been turned into extensions that have become social organs. All this contact has brought the human, social, nature, very close together. As human beings come to further understand these laws of self-life (Tian di ren), of heaven and earth merged together, of Jing, Qi, Shen, of relationships within self, and of self to the environment, so will they create a harmonized world beneficial for all.

It is not difficult to cultivate a harmony between human and nature. Their goal, after all, is the same: to build a good entirety order. This is achieved through a conscious love of the collective; through conducting life and whatever it is that we do in accord with the requirement of the collective; through moving beyond selfish motivations and building a sense of responsibility in ourselves to contribute fully what we have; and through believing in oneself – leading from a position of mastery of oneself – and so come into the collective consciously…”
